the first day of the seventh month you are to hold a sacred assembly. You are not to do any regular work. It will be a day of sounding the trumpets for you. 2 You are to present a burnt offering as an aroma pleasing to the Lord: one young bull, one ram, and seven year-old male lambs, all without defect, 3 with their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil; three-tenths of an ephah with the bull, two-tenths with the ram, 4 and one-tenth with each of the seven male lambs. 5 Also present one male goat for a sin offering, to make atonement for yourselves. 6 These are in addition to the burnt offering of the New Moon and its grain offering, and the regular burnt offering and its grain offering, and their drink offerings, according to their ordinance. They are a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the Lord by fire.
7 ‘You are to hold a sacred assembly on the tenth day of the seventh month. You must practice self-denial and do no work. 8 Present a burnt offering to the Lord, a pleasing aroma: one young bull, one ram, and seven year-old male lambs, all without defect. 9 Their grain offering is to be of fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ephah with the bull, two-tenths with the ram, 10 and one-tenth with each of the seven lambs. 11 Also present one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the sin offering of atonement, the regular burnt offering and its grain offering, and their drink offerings.
12 ‘You are to hold a sacred assembly on the fifteenth day of the seventh month; you are not to do any regular work. You are to celebrate a festival to the Lord for seven days. 13 Present a burnt offering, an offering made by fire as an aroma pleasing to the Lord: thirteen young bulls, two rams, and fourteen year-old male lambs, all without defect. 14 Their grain offering is to be fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ephah with each of the thirteen bulls, two-tenths with each of the two rams, 15 and one-tenth with each of the fourteen lambs. 16 Also offer one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.
17 ‘On the second day present twelve young bulls, two rams, and fourteen year-old male rams, all without defect, 18 with their grain offerings and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, according to the number specified. 19 Also present one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.
20 ‘On the third day present eleven bulls, two rams, and fourteen year-old male lambs, all without defect, 21 with their grain offerings and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, according to the number specified. 22 Also present one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.
23 ‘On the fourth day present ten bulls, two rams, and fourteen year-old male lambs, all without defect, 24 with their grain offerings and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, according to the number specified. 25 Also present one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.
26 ‘On the fifth day present nine bulls, two rams, and fourteen year-old male lambs, all without defect, 27 with their grain offerings and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, according to the number specified. 28 Also present one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.
29 ‘On the sixth day present eight bulls, two rams, and fourteen year-old male lambs, all without defect, 30 with their grain offerings and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, according to the number specified. 31 Also present one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.
32 ‘On the seventh day present seven bulls, two rams, and fourteen year-old male lambs, all without defect, 33 with their grain offering and drink offerings for the bulls, rams, and lambs, according to the number specified. 34 Also present one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.
35 ‘On the eighth day you are to hold a solemn assembly; you are not to do any regular work. 36 You are to present a burnt offering, an offering made by fire as an aroma pleasing to the Lord: one bull, one ram, seven year-old male lambs, all without defect, 37 and their grain offerings and drink offerings for the bulls, the ram, and the lambs, according to the number specified. 38 Also present one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.
39 ‘These you must offer these to the Lord at your appointed feasts, in addition to your vowed offerings and your freewill offerings, as your burnt offerings, your grain offerings, your drink offerings, and your fellowship offerings’.”
40 So Moses told the Israelites all that the Lord commanded him.
