my brothers, you whom I dearly love and long for, my joy and crown, in this way stand firm in the Lord, dear friends.
2 I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. 3 Yes, and I ask you, true yoke-fellow, to help these women who have laboured alongside me in the work of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable-if there is anything moral excellent and if there is anything worthy of praise-think about these things. 9 Do what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.
10 I rejoice greatly in the Lord that now at last you have renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned for me, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11 Not that I am saying that I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. In any and all circumstances I have learned the lesson of being content, whether well fed or hungry, whether having plenty or being in need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
14 In any case, it was kind of you to share in my hardship. 15 And you Philippians indeed know that in the early days of the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you alone. 16 For even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid again and again when I was in need. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the increase that may be credited to your account. 18 I have already received everything in full and even more. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you provided-a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. 19 Any my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
20 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
21 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me greet you. 22 All the saints greet you, especially those who belong to Caesar’s household.
23 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
