anyone offers a grain offering to the Lord, his offering is to be of fine flour. He is to pour oil on it, put frankincense on it, 2 and bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests. The priest shall take a handful of the fine flour and oil, along with all of its frankincense, and burn this as a memorial portion on the altar, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the Lord. 3 But the rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons it is a most holy part of the offerings to the Lord made by fire.
4 ‘If you bring a grain offering baked in an oven, it is to consist of fine flour, and be either unleavened cakes mixed with oil, or unleavened wafers spread with oil. 5 If your offering is a grain offering prepared on a griddle, it is to be made of fine flour mixed with oil and made without yeast. 6 Break it into pieces and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering. 7 If your offering is a grain offering cooked in a pan, it is to be made of fine flour and oil. 8 You are to bring the grain offering that is made of these things to the Lord; and when it is presented to the priest, he shall take it to the altar. 9 The priest shall then take the memorial portion from the grain offering and burn this on the altar. It is an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the Lord. 10 What is left of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the offering to the Lord made by fire.
11 ‘No grain offering that you bring to the Lord is be made with yeast, for you must not burn any yeast or honey in an offering made to the Lord by fire. 12 You may bring them to the Lord as an offering of firstfruits, but they are not be offered on the altar as a pleasing aroma. 13 You are to season all your grain offerings with salt. Do not allow the salt of the covenant with your God to be missing from your grain offerings; with all your offerings you are to offer salt.
14 ‘If you offer a grain offering of firstfruits to the Lord, you must present for the grain offering of your firstfruits crushed heads of new grain roasted in the fire. 15 You are to put oil on it and lay frankincense on it; it is a grain offering. 16 The priest shall then burn the memorial portion of the crushed grain and some of the oil with all of the frankincense, as an offering made to the Lord by fire’.”
